How tool links work on Umee, published by AHSoft. Last reviewed October 2026.
On this page
Some links from a tool page to a product may be affiliate links. If you buy through that link, AHSoft may earn a commission. You do not pay a higher price because of that, as far as the programs we would use are concerned. The merchant decides the price.
How a link is chosen
Every tool has an official URL. It may also have an affiliate URL. The field starts empty.
We do not invent affiliate IDs or paste placeholder codes. When the affiliate field is empty,
the button goes to the official URL and uses rel="noopener". When an affiliate
URL is set, the button uses that URL and rel="sponsored noopener", and the
official address stays visible on the page.
What a commission does not change
A commission does not buy a score, a badge, or a rewritten paragraph. Umee does not publish star ratings. A tool can be described, or left off a shortlist, whether or not an affiliate program exists. Ads from Google AdSense are separate and are described in the privacy policy.
