Comparison Research & support

Perplexity vs Gemini Notebook

Perplexity searches the web and cites pages. Gemini Notebook, formerly NotebookLM, answers from sources you upload. Here is how to choose for client research.

How a page gets written

1. Name the job

We group tools by the work a small team hires them for, not by the loudest launch.

2. Describe, don't score

A listing is a neutral paragraph, a pricing model, and a link. There is no star rating and no invented test.

3. Send you to the source

Prices change. Every tool links to its official site, and every page records the review month.

Questions people ask first

What is Umee?

Umee is an English directory of AI tools for small businesses, freelancers, and creators, published by AHSoft. It lists tools by the job they do and publishes comparisons and how-to guides.

Do you score or rank the tools?

No. Umee does not publish star ratings, benchmark scores, or numbered rankings. A roundup is a shortlist with a stated job, not a winner's table.

How current is a listing?

Pages say when they were last reviewed. The current review date is October 2026. Prices and features change, so each listing links to the official site.

How does Umee make money?

The site uses Google AdSense. Tool links can be affiliate links when an affiliate URL is set, and those links are marked for browsers as sponsored. An empty affiliate field means the link is the official site.

Who writes Umee?

The Umee editorial team, AHSoft. There are no fictional reviewers. Corrections go to info@ahsoft.ae.
